Abstract

The development of internet-based information technology is currently very rapid, especially in the field of education. The web-based library information system at Batam's Bodhi Dharma High School is an internet-based system for managing library transaction data. The purpose of this system is designed to facilitate library staff in managing library transaction data such as member data, book data, loan data, and return data. Another goal is that with a computerized system, the error rate of writing data and also duplicate data can be minimized. The development of a web-based library information system uses a very familiar method, the waterfall method, then design designs to build systems using object-oriented languages, namely UML or Unified Modeling Language. The system can only be managed by library staff who have access rights in it so that data cannot be changed by others. The result of this design is a web-based library information system that can provide more use values ​​for library staff and for objects so that existing data is well managed and guaranteed for safety because it is stored in a database.
